Abarth Esseesse kit: does it really exist?

Answering one's rhetoric question, of course it does but it is proving very difficult to locate one in some European countries. In addition to that, there was some info floating about that the actual "final" release of the kit will also include uprated springs, which, from memory, are not mentioned in any current description.

Any info on the matter would be most appreciated.

The first essesse kits are now being installed in Italy...and yes, uprated springs are included.

Thanks for the info! There was a question mark on the springs in some marketing material. It is our impression in Greece that the kits will start trickle down around March, after a lot of cohersion for some accurate info.

It also seems that some Abarths in the UK are being delivered SS-prepared, which would indicate that we are close to a wider availability of the kit.

Got my car EsseEsse'd yesterday. Interesting it was shod with Michelin Pilot tyres rather than Pirelli!

As I have just done as well! The Michelin tyres make such a big differencein terms of absorption and ride.

Hi, guys.... i can confirm you that all the latest kit , include Michelin tyres. My kit sent to dealer from Abarth Turin on March, 13th (No. 000 968) include this kind of tyres.!
It seems a better tyres for design. I'll try on ...the mountanin road after monday! stay tuned!

I am picking the Abarth from its temporary sleeping place on Friday, after a quick trip abroad. Apologies for the delay.

Trap63, the tyres are impressive indeed. My "white-wheels" kit arrived with Michelins anyway, so I did not check all the others.

A bit off-topic but important nevertheless; I've just had Bart detailed due to the fact that we went to and from Abarth Service (for installing the kit) on the rainiest and filthiest day possible in Athens. Now, I can be absolutely sure that I've never grounded the front undertray but there are two symmetrical minute scratches at the very back of he black undertray (towards the engine, not the front lip). They are possibly from moving the Abarth on and off a transporter. I've managed to eliminate them without destroying the texture of the plastic and with good reason...the black undertray is NOT available separately from the bumper; in fact, it comes thermally bonded to it, just before paint preparation.

Has anybody found a solution for that, possibly something I've missed in the Italian sections of the Forum?
